How do you get Started?
You are very welcome to have a chat with me on the phone before booking any training. It means I can recommend the right training option for you and your dog.
I have been training dogs for a very long time so I can advise how many sessions you will need to achieve your goals, depending on your experience and what you want help with

1. Have a Chat with me
Booking a call back at a convenient time for you is the easiest way to get in touch. I will advise the best training options to help you.
2. Book your training
Everything is available to book online, starting with paying for your training. After you have paid you can book your appointments for days and times you prefer.
appointments are Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have evening appointments.
3. Send me your dogs info
After you book you will fill in a history form to give me some important info about your dog, it saves wasting time asking questions in our first session so we can crack on with the training.
5. Train
Bespoke training for you and your puppy. I will not just training your pup, I am teaching you how to to it, along with oodles of puppy advice to help you make progress and achieve your goals.
Whilst I am a very hands-on trainer, you will have access to lots of resources online to help you along the way.

As well as your training sessions with me you also get an online course with 55 lessons and 30+ videos to support your journey to having that amazing off lead dog you always dreamt of having.
Having a reliable off lead dog isn’t just about calling your dog back to you.
Don’t you want a dog who stays and plays with you instead of walking on your own whilst your dog is off enjoying himself way away from you?
Your walk should be a team event, they should be fun and relaxing – not stressful and frustrating. It’s a time to bond, chill out together, relax, enjoy each other’s company, not worry and stress over the fact that you just can’t get him back when you need to – or worse: that he might run away and get lost, injured, stolen or hit by a car!
I see people all the time wandering along, faffing with their phones, daydreaming, chatting to mates they have met up with along the course of their usual walk – the same walk they do every day with their dog – leaving their dogs to go do their own thing… and when it comes to wanting to get their dog back they are either nowhere to be seen or way too busy enjoying themselves to want to come back and have seemingly ‘gone deaf’.
I know you love your dog, you feed him, make sure he is healthy and happy. You may play with him at home and give him endless cuddles on the sofa but out there, in the big exciting world of smells, other dogs, rabbits and squirrels you are boring. And that is what we will change.
We can also cover lead skills as both things are about engagement with your dog and them wanting to be with you.

Residential training doesn’t teach your dog to do this for you, it teaches your dog to work for the trainer.
Residential training means parting with your beloved friend while they go live in a kennel, plus you have to trust that they will not use aversive methods whilst your dog is in their care (most residential trainers do).
There is no such thing as a ‘quick fix’ but this will boost the training I will teach you so its a perfect mix of both.
If your dog is pulling on the lead or a frustrated greeter and barking and pulling to get to other dogs or people to say hi I can do the work for you.
My goal is always to teach you the skills you need to resolve your problems, but it can speed up the process and help you reach your goals by letting me take on some of the training for you.
- I can collect your dog from your home if you live in the following postcodes LS19, LS20, LS18, LS29 (Menston only)
- If you live further afield you can drop your dog off at my office and go relax, shop, go for a coffee or to the pub while I put in the work.
Afterwards, you can book a weekly walk to keep up with your dog’s training

One 40 minute in person, hands on training session with you and your dog with Kerry, The Fairydogmother to help with that ever so common problem of a dog dragging their person around on the end of the lead. It means sore hands, painful shoulders and, let’s admit it’s a little annoying and embarrassing.
Some people will need more than one session; if you have no engagement at all from your dog (he is like a kite on the end of a piece of string) then please look at booking Silver so we can build some obedience and engagement skills first.
You get instant access to the online video course to get cracking straight away plus a 40 minute hands on session with me to make sure your timing and mechanical skills are good.
Lead skills can be one of the first steps to helping a dog reactive dog relax and be calmer on walks to reduce stress and anxiety in both of you but this session is lead training not a behavioural consultation – so if your shows any fearful or aggressive behaviour on lead: barks/lunges/growls at dogs or people please arrange a phone call to discuss your struggles.
The session will be meeeting at The Fairydogmother office in Yeadon, Leeds The session is approximately 40 minutes.
