Fun, informative classes for good, solid groundwork

Together you can achieve anything

If you think dogs can’t count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then give him only two of them.

My classes are small, fun and focused on lots of individual help for both you and your dog. No large classes where you feel the instructors don’t even notice you are there.

Puppy Level 1

My fun, informative Puppy Classes are for puppies from vaccination up to five months of age.

A friendly relaxed class covering life skills and some fun stuff to help your puppy grow up into a happy, sociable family dog.

I include help and advice on essentials such as puppy biting, chewing and jumping up, along with basic obedience and life skills including sit, down, stay, drop, leave, food manners, and we also have fun with some target training and rollovers.

Come and join in the fun!

Older puppies
Puppy Level 2

These are for puppies moving up from my beginners class and those who already have an understanding of the basics (sit, down, stay etc.)

Small friendly relaxed intermediate class so you will get plenty of individual help during classes in a puppy friendly environment.
We will cover all kinds of life skills to help your puppy/adolescent dog continue to blossom into a happy, sociable family dog you can take anywhere.
We cover more obedience, improving on the skills you already have along with calm control, ideas to help your recall and good manners when out and about – such as door manners, emergency stop, target training, impulse control games and lots more. We have fun with some real life challenges for your dog so you have a well-behaved dog out in the real world.

Go outdoors
Puppy Adventures

If you have graduated from my puppy classes or have an older puppy with basic skills already then this is a great follow on class – not a class in the traditional sense … this is real life “out there” training.

We are taking your puppies out on adventures to give you the skills to use when you are out and about on walks, day trips and even ‘doing lunch’ with your dog.

A series of three interactive fun walks to practice everything from lead walking, recall and impulse control along with ignoring distractions and lots of games to keep your puppy focused on you and some scentwork. The programme is flexible and may include walks on the Chevin, Goldenacre Park, a stroll along a canal or even in a town centre. Some walks will end in a pub or dog friendly cafe to switch the mood to calm & relaxed and practice learning to settle, door manners, and generally polite behaviour. The exact plans may change slightly but that’s the nature of being out and about with a puppy in real life.

Please note a class environment is not suitable for dog-reactive dogs; if your dog is fearful of other dogs a class is not a comfortable place for them to be. if your dog is frightened, barks or lunges at other dogs please contact me for one to one training prior to attending classes and I will be happy to help.

If you can't do a class remember I do home puppy training too - click here for details.

Kerry did an amazing job with Princess, she does training with her for all our TV performances. She’s also helped our other pup Empress with her recall. Highly recommend!

Krystyna LennonObedience, recall & Trick Training

Just had one session so far and Kerry has shown me a lot of good techniques. For the first time in the last week I have a dog that is tired - mentally. Definitely recommend to anyone with a new dog - puppy or not.

Caroline `StewartMac - Obedience

Awsome Lady. Her advice was great and solved behaviour problem between my two dogs. Highly recommended

Magdalena BartosiakBehaviour problem

Just attended a 6 week course and found it excellent. I have a very timid pooch who would not be around anyone. The Fairydogmother is patient, knowledgeable, kind and fun. Wonderful display technique of 'how to do sit, stay, leave' etc ...

Marie-Claire HallPuppy Class

Absolutely awesome. Very knowledgeable so professional but easily approachable too. My dogs adored her. It's still early days but following her instructions, I can already see a difference. Cannot recommend highly enough. She's AWESOME

Jay NeeBehaviour problem

Attended a six week puppy course for my cocker spaniel and I loved it! Charlie had so much fun, Kerry was so patient and gave such good advice and training methods. Charlie is now a well socialised puppy, loves meeting people and new situations which is definitely down to these puppy classes! Such good value for money.

Amy BrookCharlie - puppy class

Had a home visit behaviour consultation as our new puppy is very low on confidence and was fab! Kerry is brilliant and I would recommend her to everybody. Took the time to teach my children how to handle our new pup and they are now following her methods.
